Q: Why create another dock diving organization?

We wanted to create more options for the dock diving community. We got tired of seeing how other organizations treat their competitors and facilities. We figure if we can create a better culture/atmosphere/environment then maybe the other organizations will step-up and make changes to keep up with the times... improving the dock diving marketplace as a whole... everyone wins!

Q: Are the titles AKC/CKC/UKC?

No, our titles are specific to our K9Wave organization.

Q: Are you affiliated with other organizations?

No, nor do we have plans to be in the future.

Q: What does the one-time fee (per dog) membership include?

Access to the K9W TeamPortal where you can track your Team's progress, view history, follow rankings, quickly register for events, and more...

Q: How do I register my dog(s)?

Go to https://www.k9wave.com/TeamPortal/new-account. If you already have a TeamPortal login, you can add additional dogs (Teams) once logged into your account.

Q: What is the Regular and Mini classes?

The Regular class is open to all dogs measuring 16″ (or more) at the withers. The Mini class is for all dogs that measure under 16″ at the withers. The withers are defined as the highest point of the shoulders, right behind the base of the neck.

Q: Why are you creating new names for the games and divisions?

Every organization uses their own naming conventions for their games and divisions. We kept with the ocean theme to have some fun.

Q: Can a dog jump for different handlers?

Yes, but each "Team" needs to be registered with a separate K9Wave ID Number.
